Joey de Leon, an “Eat Bulaga” mainstay, allegedly responded to Vice Ganda joking about the consecutive entrance of GMA artists transferring to the Kapamilya network during the "Miss Q & A" segment of “It’s Showtime”. Despite not mentioning anyone in his tweets, the netizens are concluding that Joey was pertaining to Vice Ganda's snide remarks through his "parinig" tweets.
Eat Bulaga is the longest-running variety show in the Philippines and this was the main topic that Joey was bragging on his tweet. He also tagged the official Twitter accounts of Michael V and “Eat Bulaga.” Attached to the post is a photo of Joey de Leon wearing a shirt that says “Eat Bul39a” (Eat Bulaga 39 na).

It can be recalled that during the "Miss Q & A" segment, Vice Ganda asked contestant with the question, "Kung sinasabing ang GMA ay ‘Where you belong,’ ba’t sila naglilipatan?” which is the alleged reason why Joey bragged about staying long in a network or being the longest noon time show.
The netizens could not help but gush over Joey's tweets. They can't help but think that his tweets are mainly for Vice. It is because Joey De Leon has always been known for his frankness and occasional shout-outs to rival shows. He is also known for often bragging about how long "Eat Bulaga" has been on air compared to other shows in the Philippine show business.

“Eat Bulaga” is local showbiz’s longest-running noontime show. The variety show, top-billed by the comedy trio of Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Vic Sotto, and Joey De Leon, started back in 1979.
Under Television And Production Exponents (TAPE), the show first aired on RPN 9, transferred to ABS-CBN, and eventually stayed permanently with GMA.
