People with disabilities (PWD) need extra care and attention from the people guarding them. Unlike healthier individuals, some PWDs don’t have the strength to go out and do normal activities. This means that their caretakers should stay with them 24/7 in order to look after them if ever they need something.
However, there are guardians who just couldn’t stay put inside the house in order to take care of their disabled loved ones. One example is this mom who was spotted in public with her disabled child. Unfortunately, she chose to bring her daughter in the most unlikely place of all.
People normally understand that the guardians of disabled people are allowed to take them to places such as the mall or restaurants. However, one woman was spotted inside a casino with her disabled daughter who was exposed to the cigarette smoke and noise all around her.
Beauty queen Rizza Singson posted a photo on her account. The photo, which was taken by her aunt who was at the casino during that time, has gotten controversial reactions. According to what her aunt told her, the woman was playing at one of the machines in the casino while her daughter lay down motionless beside her due to her disability. The heartless woman even used her daughter as a cart and placed some of her things on top of her.

Meanwhile, here is the photo of the gambling mother and her child:
Rizza decided to publicly post the photo in order to raise awareness against this kind of behavior. She also wanted the management of the casino to take responsibility and make new rules which would forbid guardians to take their disabled relatives inside such an environment.
She added: “If anybody is working for Solaire Resort Solaire Resort & Casino, kindly send them this post so that casino rules can be ammended to prevent something like this from happening again.”
What can you say about this kind of behavior? What would you do if you saw the same scenario inside a casino? Would you ever take your disabled loved one in this kind of place? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
