For most people, World War II caused trauma and became the reason for them to leave their old lives and star anew in another place. 


Such is the story of a woman named Madame De Florian who lived through the reign of Nazis in France. The old woman was only 23 years old back in 1939 when the German army took over their place in Paris.

According to reports, Madame De Florian was forced to flee her home along with her family and move to a part of France where the war hasn’t ensued. Even after the war, the woman never returned to her old apartment but still managed to pay the rent for 70 years until her death in 2010.
