Agot Isidro recently expressed her anger on her Twitter account when she heard that fake news about her is circulating online. According to a report by Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP), the fake news in question was published on Monday, August 14.
According to the fake report, the actress was allegedly forced to check out of Boracay Hotel Groove and Spa on Saturday when she allegedly “created problems that could endanger the whole hotel.”
The news stated that Isidro checked in with two other female companions during that time who were also requested to check out at an earlier time.
Isidro allegedly had an argument with an unknown person loitering around the area near their hotel. At around 4pm, the hotel management allegedly stated that a small crowd of people started to gather outside the establishment and demanded the actress to show her face. By 6pm, the crowd was said to have reached more than 50 people who demanded Isidro to face them.
It was then revealed that the person Isidro had an argument with was a Duterte supporter who was insulted by the star’s criticism of the president.
However, Isidro denied this incident and said that she was in Cinemalaya on the said day.
In her Twitter post which was dated August 16, she said that the news is “fake” and “stupid.”
Her caption read: “Fake! Fake! Fake! Was in Cinemalaya the whole day. To divulge my whereabouts that day is unnecessary but this is just way too stooooopid”
Agot Isidro is a known critic of President Rodrigo Duterte. She was involved in a controversy in the past when she called the president a “psychopath” in one of her social media posts back in 2016.
