This year’s Star Magic All Star Game did not only make a buzz on television, but also in social media.
It was Gerald Anderson’s Team Blue that prevailed. However, it could not be help that opposing players get physical during the bout. Team Red’s leader, Daniel Padilla and JC de Vera almost fought in the basketball court.
The tension between the two was so intense that the game was momentarily stopped. Apparently, Padilla fell to the floor because of de Vera. Nonetheless, it was not a reason for them to stop playing. They still gave their best on the rest of the competition regardless of the drama that happened.
Later after the game, the two were asked to give their statements regarding the incident. They both said that things between them were okay. They both apologized to each other and what happened in the court would just remain and end there.

Meanwhile, Paul Salas’ name got involved in the issue after he offended Daniel with his tweets. Apparently, Salas mockingly compared Padilla to Stephen Curry who is the Teen King’s idol.
“Hahahaha curry na curry ba,” Salas commented on social media.
It sparked a Twitter war between Padilla and Salas. Their heated online exchanges became trending on the site and were constantly reported on television. Not only their friends were involved, but also their girlfriends.
Of course, Daniel’s celebrity parents gave their statement on the issue.

"Si DJ kasi nasa hustong edad na. At sa pinagdaanan niya din siguro noon sa kanyang teenage life, alam na niyang i-handle yung nga ganyang sitwasyon at ako’y may tiwala naman kay DJ. Magkaroon man ng hamunan, lalaki yan e at hindi nagsasabi sa akin yun. Kaya alam kong alam niya ang ginagawa niya," Rommel said.
The “The Better Half” actor added that his son was already at the young age and he already knows what he was doing. Rommel stated that he trusts the decisions that Daniel makes. He was also thankful for the continuous support that his son was getting.
"Sa nakikita ko naman, naibabalik niya naman ito sa kanyang mga fans. Lahat ay pinagsasakripisyuhan ni DJ. Itong tinatamasa niya ngayon ay naibabahagi niya din ang blessings niya sa lahat," Rommel shared.
The actor is currently busy with remaining two weeks of Kapamilya hit series, “The Better Half.”
