Despite the rift between her and her sons with Benjie Paras, Jackie Forster still persisted on winning the heart of Kobe through an emotional birthday greeting.
On her Instagram page, the former actress expressed her love for her child who is now a popular athlete.
She wrote, “Happy Birthday Kobe my love, mama loves you so much. Don't let anybody ever tell you otherwise. Keep that with you wherever life leads. I'll always just be here, praying for you. May the Lord bless you with all that is good for your heart and soul. #imissandloveyouandreandkobe”

Jackie’s fans and followers were touched upon reading her message. One online user said she relates to the former actress as she is a mother herself. Others also praised Jackie for being a ‘good mother’ and even jested that Kobe and Andrei should thank their mom for bearing her good looks.
However, despite the positive response from netizens, there are those who still left undesirable comments against Jackie’s act.
IG user @qa2105 said, “That’s what you get for being a bad parent. Look at how you barely post any picture of Jared just because he’s autistic and you adore your other kids. You’re repeating the same mistake.”

Jackie did not hold back and responded to the basher, “First of all, Jared is not autistic. Second, he is 11 years old and has a life and priorities! Social media is the least of his concerns right now and he doesn’t have time to play and take photos intentionally.”
She further stated, “I’m not going to make him come with his younger siblings just to be in a photo for me to prove to someone like you that I, HIS MOTHER, LOVE HIM. Get a life and stay off my account, you judgmental fool.”
The former actress’ fans and followers came to her defense and comforted her. Some also suggested she should turn her account’s comments section off as many celebrities are doing it now to avoid negative remarks from people.
Jackie then assured the fan that she’s unfazed by these negativities.
She said, “It's alright, it doesn't hurt me anymore, I know who I am now. Sadly for people who have nothing nice to say, they may be the ones lost. I like hearing from people like you who encourage and inspire me to keep going!”
