Most people think that being a celebrity means you’d have to dedicate your life to acting. There’s no doubt that most stars, both here and abroad, couldn’t even make time for their own families due to the many projects lined up their way.
However, there are some celebs who manage to divide their time among acting, spending time with their family, and doing the things they love. In fact, most people don’t know that a lot of stars are into other things, such as teaching.

Before becoming a celebrity and after graduating from DLSU, Isabelle says she first worked as a preschool teacher.
Of course, everyone knows that Georcelle, or more commonly known as Teacher Georcelle, is one of the most popular dance teachers the country has to offer. Her wicked dance moves are tailored to each celebrity she works with.
This Pinoy rock enthusiast has taught in his alma mater, Ateneo de Manila for eight years. He handled different courses such as Digital Filmmaking, Independent Cinema, and Short Film. He also co-founded a multi-media school called Shift, where he also taught a class on Short Film Production.
Aside from being an independent musician, composer, and singer-songwriter, Bullet Dumas also serves as a high school Math teacher.
Ciara’s love for learning the art of Pole Dancing grew so much that she decided to teach it as well.
Before teaching people how to mend their broken hearts, Papa Jack used to teach Mass Communications since that is his favorite subject when he was a student.
What most of her fans don’t know is that Camille has her own pre-school which first started at her home in Cainta.
Prior to joining Miss Philippines Earth 2009, she went to a public school and did some voluntary teaching. In fact, one of her dreams is to have her own pre-school one day.
Not an academic teacher but Regine Tolentino can bust some mean moves as she is also a dance teacher, aside from an actress. In fact, she has her own dance workshop now.
Before entering show business, Ruby Rodriguez became a teacher for high school and pre-school students.
Currently, Marian stars as a teacher in the GMA show “Super Ma’am.” What her fans don’t know though is that she attempted to be a Special Education (SPED) teacher before she was discovered.
12.Lourd De Veyra
The Palanca Award winner and TV personality has actually done a few terms at De La Salle University, Taft. He taught Pagsulat sa Media and Popular Culture and Film Criticism among others.
Before being a famous comedian and television show host, Ramon was a professor at the University of the Philippines in Diliman. He used to teach MA courses at the College of Mass Communications.
