Tawag ng Tanghalan grand champion Noven Belleza is currently embroiled in a controversy that could affect his career in the long run. From this, the humbled singer has quite a few things to say.
During a guest appearance on “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” Noven was not allowed to openly discuss the ongoing case. Instead, the crooner shared some of the lessons he learned from the unpleasant experience.
The most important one is don’t easily trust anyone. “Ang aral po na napulot ko ay basta hindi dapat basta nagtitiwala,” Noven told By Abunda during the interview.
Abunda followed this up asking where does Noven get his strength in adversity like this. “Unang una, sa pamilya ko. At sinasamahan ko po ng dasal.”

The young singer expressed his gratitude to his family and God. “Nagpapasalamat ako sa walang hanggang pagmamahal at suporta ng pamilya ko sa akin.”
He also prays for resilience in overcoming this ordeal. “Panginoon, ‘wag niyo naman po sana akong bigyan ng pagsubok na hindi ko kakayanin.”
Noven also gave a message to his supporters and critics alike. “Maraming, maraming salamat pa rin sa mga naniniwala. At sa hindi po, maraming, maraming salamat pa rin.”
Before Noven won the singing tilt in March this year, he was a rice farmer from Negros Occidental. He is currently finishing his first album under Star Music with the lead single, “Tumahan Ka Na.”

According to the singer, this ballad is for the soldiers who valiantly fought in Marawi and OFWs who left their families.
His first public appearance after rape allegations was at the AFP Medical Center in Quezon City. His astounding performance for the wounded soldiers and veterans earned him a rousing ovation from the crowd.
Last July, Noven’s rising career was rocked by a damaging issue, shocking the showbiz industry. The singing champ was accused of sexual assault from fellow TNT contestant.
He allegedly made unwanted advances to his lady friend, after his guest performance in Vice Ganda’s concert in Cebu.
Noven was promptly arrested, but was rushed to the hospital because of chest pains. Upon further examination of evidence, a Cebu City prosecutor downgraded the complaint to sexual assault from rape charges, allowing him to post bail of P120,000.
