On Thursday, October 05, during Eat Bulaga’s “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment, hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Alden Richards, and Maine Mendoza visited the house of a winner who said that she was suffering from depression.
Joey de Leon dismissed depression as a joke. Maine countered him by stating that depression is no laughing matter.
Joey De Leon then claimed that the winner was only making up her depression.
He also shared his opinions about the supposed difference when it comes to the social status of a person suffering from depression.

Depression is obviously a serious mental health issue that many people – not just Filipinos – suffer from. It is baseless and ignorant to claim that only the rich can suffer from this disorder because everyone is at risk of it.
Here the some of netizens' comments:
When a celebrity talks, he or she must first be truly aware of what he or she is talking about before saying anything because words carry weight – especially the words of a celebrity who can reach millions of people.
